The search filters are pretty basic though. You can search depending on gender, age range, and location.

However, changing the location is restricted within the different cities or provinces of your country. It is a roulette-type matching wherein members are displayed, and you either have to click the heart for like or X if you want to pass on the user. Lovoo makes it easy for all their users to block offensive users and report them to the admin. In the mobile app, the report button sits on the top-right of every user profile.

Instead, when you click on a member — whether on the Discover or Play page — the profiles appear on a pop-up window. Profiles on Lovoo feature limited information about the member. They only show the name, location, age, and if the member is currently online. On mobile, the profile information is placed under the profile photo. You are unable to view both tabs if you have not completed filling out your information or uploading at least three photos on your album.

These additional features make the app highly interactive. You will see your profile picture in the middle of the screen, with circles around it similar to ripples. When there are nearby users, you will see their profile icons on these ripples. Lovoo Live can be used to earn money especially if your live videos are popular. Whenever your watchers give you gifts during your live stream, you earn a diamond. These diamonds can be exchanged for credits or cash.
